things you can sprout all of which have their own distinctive flavour. Peanuts, pumpkins, cabbage, lentils,
chickpeas, mustard greens, mung beans, hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, snow peas,
alfalfa, quinoa and sesame seeds to name but a few. Many health food stores sell ‘sprout mixes’ too,
just ensure you buy seeds intended for sprouting… they differ from ones
intended for the garden.
Find an entertaining blog about a raw food diet plan that encourages group discussions and recipe sharing. Like any restrictive diet, dining out either publicly or socially with friends and family can be tricky. If heading to a restaurant perhaps call ahead and see what salads they offer. Tell them your situation - they may be able to help. Also don’t be too defensive or preachy. If you’ve chosen to adhere to a raw food diet plan, great! But don’t push it on others or offend them by critiquing their diet choices, even if all you want to do is help. It is best to wait until asked for advice.
